Seattle Police Department has settled a lawsuit with a man who was injured in collision with SPD patrol car. The crash happened in February 2009, when a pickup car collided with the police car on a wintry morning. A lawsuit was filed which is settled at a compensation of $650,000. Donald A. Meyer, 51 was driving a pick-up on the Sodo neighborhood at 5:20 A.M. when he was struck by the patrolling car of Officer Welsh.... full story
