newVideoPlayer("/GenesisBoxster.flv", 494, 290,""); These may be two completely different vehicles, but that doesn't mean a drag race between a Hyundai Genesis 4.6 and a standard Porsche Boxster is a completely irrelevant test. Yes, the Boxster's flat-six has nothing over the Hyundai's 4.6-liter 375 HP V8, though we can't imagine that will stop impromptu white-collar drag races between Genesis and Boxster drivers on their way from Starbucks to the office. We'd be interested to see how the two compare on a twisty track, though the Genesis Coupe may be more well-suited for that task. [ YouTube ]

newVideoPlayer("Hyundai_rome.flv", 463, 387,""); Continuing the simple but good "Think about it" ad campaign kicked off during the Superbowl , Method Studios has a follow up Hyundai Ad titled "Rome". Playing on the wistful imagery everybody holds in their mind's eye about the city of Rome, the dude's abiding voice encourages us to reconsider what we think we know about Hyundai - no doubt an allusion to the Excel. The "Rome" commercial features not the extra-luxury Genesis, but the regular-strength Azera. This of course begs the question, 'How far down the product ladder will this campaign go?' Sonata? Accent? Only time will tell. But it's also the first time we see... Hyundai busting out with its new thoughtspace (the name us plebes use is website).
