newVideoPlayer("/meetthebeckers1.flv", 494, 400,""); Pricks drive BMW convertibles. Old people drive Mercedes sedans. Boring people drive Lexus crossovers. At least that's the message Audi wants you to hear with its new viral marketing effort, a web mini-series called "Meet the Beckers." The mini-series tells the tale of a dysfunctional affluent family. Although we've got to admit that often times the stereotypes portrayed in the advertisement show are dead-on and funny as hell, we're forgetting one stereotype. You know, that Audi drivers are self-righteous assholes who think they have the right to judge everyone else. Come to think of it, the viral vid appears to be totally spot on. [ MeetTheBeckers ]

newVideoPlayer("pointless_TTS.flv", 463, 387,""); Okay, apparently whoever is doing the new ads for the Audi TTS is phoning it in, cause we have no idea what this commercial is trying to tell us. Is the TTS meant for periodic jaunty high speed runs in dry lake beds only to return for the awesome scenery? Perhaps the vaguely homo erotic undertones and selection of that sexy red paint is an attempt to target the elusive and lucrative gay market. Does the ad have a point? Is Audi actually trying to evoke something here? Doesn't seem like it.

newVideoPlayer("AudiBlackList_gawker.flv", 463, 300,""); As a quick aside to our Super Bowl commercial watching -- in addition to the hilarious "Godfather" Audi Super Bowl commercial , the "Truth In Engineering" site is also home to a bunch of high-production value videos, each a riff off the "Truth In..." thing the Auto Union's got going on. All of them are sure to delight and astonish the Audi fan-boys but our fave flick's got to be the "Truth In The Blacklist" video above. So head on over to Audi's site and click away -- don't worry, Audi marketing maven Scott Keogh's already expecting at least 750,000 to 1.2 million of you to show up. [via Truth In Engineering ]

newVideoPlayer("AudiGodfatherAd_gawker.flv", 463, 300,""); Here it is, hours before Audi's "Truth In Engineering" Super Bowl commercial is supposed to air before hundreds of millions of Super Bowl viewers this evening. The commercial's filled with all the tinges of the "Godfather" we were told to expect when Audi's Scott Keogh said the automaker with many rings would be going a little bit more "West Coast" in their marketing of luxury. So go ahead and watch as Audi puts "Old Luxury" on notice with the Audi R8 . Remember to check out the rest of our automotive Super Bowl commercial fun as we get more of the crazy car ads up throughout the night -- especially as we'll probably be seeing the Audi R8 once more this evening in the Iron Man Super Bowl commercial . galleryPost('R8ReviewTop', 6, 'Audi R8'); [via Truth In Engineering ]

newVideoPlayer("AudiA4Chase_gawker.flv", 475, 376); Yes that's the new Audi A4 that even when jamming down a windy mountain road with a hot chick in a helicopter still looks as astonishingly un-different to the old Audi A4 as it did when it was just flashing...
