An alert reader over at Carspyshots grabbed these photos of what's presumably the 2009 Dodge Charger showing off its, uh, minor exterior refresh. Taillights FTW! It looks like Dodge has added a little raised portion down by the turn signal lens...and that's about it. We can't see the sides or front, so no details on changes there, but chances are the biggest alterations are on the inside, since that's where Chrysler has been focusing its development dollars as of late. More as we get it. [ Carspyshots ]

Yesterday we shook some trees to see if anything would fall out resembling a Dodge Ram R/T or SRT-10 by tossing out wild speculation on some nondescript spy photos. We don't know if that got some gears turning, but today a brief flash of what looks to be the 2009 Ram R/T showed up in a promo video for the Rambox . So of course we took a screen capture, waved a magic anti-distortion wand over it and ta-da! A sportier, spicier Dodge Ram. Now if only we could do that wand trick with the Chrysler Sebring. galleryPost('ramsomething', 3, 'Maybe This Is The Dodge Ram RT');[ Dodge via Auto Blog ]

We were breaking stories like madmen at Detroit, after our world exclusive drive through Cobo we went to see the 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 to have the world's first tailgate using the awesome new RamBox feature. And who volunteered to down the first bottle? Why that would be Dan Bodene of Chrysler Communications. Drink it down boys. galleryPost('ramtailgate', 3, 'World Exclusive Dodge Ram Tailgate');

Here's a question for you: how do you feel about a hybrid Hemi? Somebody please answer for Danio as I know his head just popped. With the electric motor, both vehicles can summon up 385 horsepower. No mention of torque (either at the reveal or in the press release ) but both "two-mode" big 'ol hybrid boys showed up towing toys. The Chrysler got a horse trailer while the Dodge had a boat. ChryslerCerebusDodge is claiming that gas mileage in the city will be up by 40% while highway numbers will improve by 25%. The actual numbers? ChryslerCerebusDodge didn't say, which of course reminds me of an old Simpsons bit. "Each newspaper contains a certain percent of recycled paper." To which Lisa asks, "What percent is that?" The answer, "Zero. Zero's a percent." galleryPost('chryslerhybrids', 8, 'Hemi Hybrids');

We've already seen it in spy photos -- a lot , but one of us was headed down I-275 an hour ago and spotted the musclegasm that is the 2009 Dodge Challenger meandering down the left lane at posted speeds. Luckily, we were coming from an event so we happened to have a camera nearby to catch the re-make making its way south. What was weird about this particular test vehicle was it appeared to be both red and black. So, what -- they couldn't decide whether they what color they wanted it to be? Seriously guys, pick a color -- preferably before the 2008 Chicago Auto Show reveal. galleryPost('2009DodgeChallengerSpy1', 8, 'Spy Photos - 2009 Dodge Challenger');

From the I think it might be a minivan department comes the Dodge Journey . After seeing a surprising number of Chrysler minivans on the roads here in Frankfurt , we can see the appeal a space wagon equipped with a 2.0L turbodiesel from the Dodge might...
